Yes, our resort currently operates on an energy-saving system. To assure your unit will stay ON, please be sure to have the glass sliding lanai / balcony door closed well and tightly. Mahalo.
The Ice Machines are located near the elevator on each floor of Building 1 and Building 2, and on the 3rd and 4th floor in Building 2. FloWater filtered water refill stations are located in Building 1 on the first floor next to the ice machine, and in Building 2 on the 5th floor.
OUTRIGGER KauaŹ»i Beach Resort & Spa is a non-smoking resort. For designated smoking areas, please see a staff member or reference our property map.
The beach fronting our resort is secluded and ideal for on-shore activities. However, swimming isn't recommended due to strong currents and a lack of lifeguards.
The closest swimmable beach is Lydgate Beach Park, just a short 5-minute drive from our resort.

Rooms will be serviced between 8:30 am - 3:30 pm each day.
Daily service of guest rooms:
Day 1 - Arrival day
Day 2 - Light service
Day 3 - Light service
Day 4 - Full service + bed linen change
These services will be repeated until your departure
If you would wish to have towels and amenities delivered to your room after 3:30 pm or prefer a specific time for servicing your room, please dial "0" for Guest Services, and they will be more than happy to assist you.
Our self-service laundry facility is located in Building 1, 1st Floor. The washing machines and dryers accept coins or card. However the soap machine takes quarters only, which can be obtained from the front desk.
There is a microwave available for guest use in Building 2 - Located on the 5th Floor in the Community Lounge.
Our resort fee is 35 USD plus tax per day, per room. This charge will be added at checkout. A few of the many inclusions are: WiFi access throughout the resort, weekly cultural activities, daily beachfront yoga classes, weekly welcome reception, 24/7 fitness center, 2 OUTRIGGER Ozone reusable watter bottles and more.
