    Born and raised in Honolulu, Zak has captured some of the world’s most iconic waves, with work featured in National Geographic, ESPN and leading surf publications. As a Beachcomber Original and third-generation photographer, Zak brings deep cultural roots and a genuine connection to Hawai‘i’s surf community.

    In this episode, Zak sits down with Kekoa Cazimero: professional surfer, entrepreneur and founder of AVVA Brand. Raised in a family deeply rooted in Hawaiian surfing traditions, Kekoa has carved his own path, turning surfing into a platform for mentorship, community uplift and cultural expression. Through AVVA, he champions local athletes, builds opportunities for youth and invests back into the community that shaped him.
