Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort invites up-and-coming music artists to enter this contest that could put you on the path to stardom! 

How to Enter

Provide a link to video performance posted online or submit a music sample on DVD.

Finalists will invited to perform virtually at the Made in Hawaii Festival on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 3 pm - 6 pm in front of a distinguished panel of judges:
Bobby Moderow, Grammy-nominee, Na Hoku Hanohano award winner and Maunalua member
Kawika Kahiapo, Na Hoku Hanohano award winner
Jon Ross, MELE Audio Engineering faculty at Honolulu Community College
Luana Mailtand, music director, Kani Ka Pila Grille 


One-month paid contract to perform at Kani Ka Pila Grille in 2021.
Personalized promotions and marketing plan including studio recording and electronic press kit from Mike Curb MELE Studios.

Made in Hawaii Festival is a 3-day extravaganza of food, fashion, crafts, and live entertainment held VIRTUALLY August 21-23, 2020.

Mike Curb MELE Studios at Honolulu Community College supports an associate degree program in music business and audio engineering. The Music and Entertainment Learning Experience (MELE) offers local students opportunities to pursue careers in the music industry.The program is affiliated with Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
