Join us on November 23, 2019 for another exciting event edition of TOMA!

TOMA - the Terrace of Modern Art - is our surf-art series featuring celebrated artists who draw their inspiration from the beach. The Waikiki Beachcomber hotel pool deck adjacent to Hawaiian Aroma Caffe will transform into an outdoor art gallery overlooking Waikiki. Guests can meet the featured artist in person and enjoy handcrafted drinks, delicious bites, and a live DJ.

TOMA is free and open to the public. Valet parking is available at the hotel ($6 for 4 hours). Want to make a weekend out of it? Check out our Breakfast Package to snag a room package. Kamaaina rates also available!

TOMA and Hawaiian Aroma Caffe will be donating 15% of the proceeds from the evening to AccesSurf Hawaii, a water-based nonprofit charity organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for people with a disability

Tommy Pierucki BIO:
Originally from the Chicago area, Tommy Pierucki has been a Hawaii resident since 2013. Ever since first getting on a surfboard at Baby Queens in Waikiki in the early 2000s, he’s been determined to spend the rest of his days giving back to, enjoying, and capturing the beauty of the islands and it’s amazing people. This love drew him to work with AccesSurf, a charitable organization that helps connect those with physical and/or cognitive disabilities to the ocean.

Tommy became a well known surf photographer and had been featured on the cover of Pacific Longboarder Magazine‘s 100th issue and published in Freesurf Magazine, premiered a film in the 2019 Honolulu Museum of Art Surf Film Festival as a #RisingTide filmmaker, has been a featured artist at the Green Room. Tommy, was also requested to photograph celebrities like Tom Holland (Spider-man), Halsey, and Lily Chee as they surfed. His photography was featured by brands like Roxy, RVCA, Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii Magazine, Honolulu Magazine, Japan Airlines, Billabong, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Aqua Aston, The Surfjack Hotel, Outrigger Waikiki, Coconut Waikiki, Shoreline Hotel, Hawaii Theatre and many more.
