Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort and Spa offers a beautiful traditional Thai wedding ceremony that reflects a genuine reverence for the couple and their guests. Weddings are normally held outdoors in the morning or late afternoon. The ceremony is about an hour followed by cocktails and dinner.

Thai wedding ceremony highlights
- A Long Drum procession starts the event. Several drummers accompanied by musicians with cymbals and bells walk through the resort to the bride's room. Joining the procession are the groom, friends, family, and maids in traditional costume carrying symbolic gifts. The bride joins the group at the wedding pavilion.
- Buddhist monks chant prayers that bless the couple with health, happiness and prosperity
- Bride and groom are draped with holy string that symbolizes spiritual union
- The couple receives a sprinkling of jasmine water
- Wedding guests each pour a conch shell of holy water over the couple's palms, offering their blessing and best wishes
- The couple plants a tree to symbolize their new union

- Choose from a la carte or buffet style menus featuring fresh local seafood, Thai delicacies, or western favorites
- Beverage choices include champagne, wine, cocktails, spirits, beer, soft drinks, juices and other light refreshments
Terms and conditions
- Reservations must be made a 30 days or more in advance
- Reservations will be confirmed by the resort with instructions for making necessary arrangements
- 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation
- Rates are subject to 17.7% service charge and taxes
Cancellation policy
- High Season January 8 - April 30 and November 1- December 19: 30 days prior to guest arrival
- Low Season May 1 - October 31: 14 days prior to guest arrival
