The Plantation Club’s architecture is designed in a French Colonial style with a wine room that can host exclusive tastings and a tea library telling the story of the islands tea culture. The Plantation Club features a private pool, outdoor bar and lounge area nestled away in a tropical garden overlooking Mauritius’s sugar cane fields and mountains.
During the day, The Plantation Club is a lounge exclusively reserved for guests staying in Suites or Villa: guests can enjoy breakfast with sparkling wine, all-day hot beverages, soft drinks, juices, teas and snacks, our traditional afternoon tea with cakes and cookies and a daily cocktail hour. The private pool deck is the perfect place to relax, read a book or catch up on news.
In the evening, The Plantation Club becomes a restaurant serving modern Mauritian cuisine. The a la carte menu is the perfect meeting of European and Mauritian know-how working its magic on the choicest of local fresh products. Diners can savour dishes such as beef tartar and oysters from south Mauritius, braised lamb shoulder in Phoenix beer with spicy tomato, goat cheese and Lapsang Souchong tea juice, pan-seared red drum fish, deer from Chamarel, etc. On Saturdays butcher Pascal’s masterful slow-cooked pork neck will be served accompanied with local vanilla puree, glazed raisin, and star anise sauce.
