November in Photos

Kim Steutermann RogersFriday, December 07, 2012

I’ve had some juicy assignments this year. I’m the first to admit it. In a couple weeks, when I recap the year, one of the highlights will surely be the time I spent participating on Molokai at the Creative Photography for the Soul workshop. Like experiences that stick, this one came at a good time--at exactly the right time when my soul needed some creative inspiration. And believe me, I got it, as I hope these photographs convey. I took a few thousand photographs on Molokai and a few more since then. Culling them down to this group wasn’t easy. I had to wrestle with a few. To make it as easy as possible for myself, I’ve limited this November group to just those images I snapped on Molokai. I’ll save a few more that I took on Oahu for the December recap. And, drats, I just remembered the images in the slide show above don’t include any of my iPhoneography. Maybe I’ll dedicate a year-end post just to photography taken with my iPhone and processed using all those fun, snazzy iPhone apps I’ve been hoarding lately.
