Spice Lounge
One of the newest night events to hit Oahu is the Spice Lounge at E&O Trading Company restaurant. The lounge takes on the Far East Asian marketplace feel of the restaurant in a two-phase Friday-night party. In the early evening, a DJ on the outside patio plays '70s and '80s retro music to a crowd of young professionals. After 10 PM, the Spice Lounge takes over the inside restaurant as well, where a DJ spins a mix of R&B and house music. One night a month, the promoter also throws a special themed event, such as the recent Miss Hawaiian Tropic state contest. There are pupu specials until 11:30 PM, bottle service, and reserved VIP tables. It's a comfortable place to hang.
