Interested in out of the ordinary art exhibitions? FAX is an exhibition at the University of Hawai'i Art Gallery that invites artists, architects, designers, scientists, and filmmakers to think of the fax machine as a drawing tool. The unique exhibition which began in New York in 2009 showcases the infinitely reproducible and erratic outcomes of producing works via fax machine. It displaces traditional notions of the hand being commonly associated with the medium of drawing. The opening reception takes place on Sunday, February 26 from 3:00 PM-5:00PM.
