Located on the second floor of the Diamond Head tower at the newly remodeled Outrigger Reef on the Beach, Serenity Spa Hawaii's rebirth includes newly decorated treatment rooms, the addition of a men's changing room, and a new menu of services utilizing the environmentally conscious line of Aveda products.
Central to the spa's redo is the addition of Aveda services and products. According to Sheryl Bell, co-owner and operator of Serenity Spa Hawaii, the two companies share a common vision and mission of servicing each guest with an experience of excellence. "At Serenity Spa Hawaii, our mission is to sooth and relax guests with an experience of Hawaiian rudiments and the unity of mind, body and soul," Bell said.
The staff consists of spa professionals from the islands who have been specially trained by Aveda, the environmentally sustainable, plant-derived hair, skin, and body care cosmetic brand that continues to set the standard for spas. The 4,500-square foot Serenity Spa Hawaii offers luxury spa services in eight treatment rooms at an affordable price for the entire family. Refreshing body services like body wraps, scrubs, vichy showers and aroma therapies are also available. Couples treatments, kids packages, and full salon services are also on the menu.
A specialty treatment at Serenity Spa Hawaii is their Chakra Balancing Massage - this is an innovative treatment to align the body's chakra points through touch and aroma blends. Different massage techniques are incorporated into this service to decrease muscular tension, reduce stress and increase energy.
Within the next several months, guests also will have the opportunity to enjoy select treatments in a tropical cabana being erected next to the pool. A new retail boutique will also open soon in the Outrigger Reef's lobby where guests will be able to book spa services and purchase Aveda products.
