HONOLULU, HAWAII– Outrigger is going the extra mile for participants at this year’s 16th annual XTERRA World Championship with an array of accommodation options for runners and spectators of the race. The XTERRA World Championship is scheduled for October, 23, 2011. The new course at Kapalua Resort will include a 1.5 kilometer rough-water swim at D.T. Fleming Beach, a 30-kilometer mountain bike on the lower slopes of the West Maui Mountains, and a 10 kilometer trail run. This race marks the culmination of a racing season that spans 15 countries and hosts more than 100 events.
