By employing hybrid marketing and distribution channels and incorporating seamless availability and booking capabilities, Outrigger can convert sales quickly and cost-effectively. Outrigger is a global leader in real-time connectivity with major distribution customers. Stellex supports direct interfaces with major wholesale and online travel agencies including Japan Travel Bureau (JTB), HIS, Expedia, Orbitz, Pleasant Holidays, Classic Custom Vacations, The Mark Travel Company (Funjet, Alaska Vacations) as well as Delta, United and Continental Vacations (through MLT), Condominium Connection, and others. Outrigger was the first hospitality company to have dedicated placement and direct connectivity with Japan Airlines’ jal.com website, the leading travel site in Japan.
Stellex connectivity has also proven to be the most efficient and effective wholesale connectivity solution for the company’s franchise operations, supporting interfaces to the Marriott, Embassy Suites (Hilton) and Holiday Inn (InterContinental Hotels Group) systems.
Stellex also functions as Outrigger’s Hawaiian Islands property management system (PMS), using a web-based interface to deliver full functionality to Outrigger-managed properties across Hawaii’s four major islands from a central data center.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Stellex is used as a link to Outrigger's worldwide reservations and distribution systems. In Hawaii and the Asia-Pacific region, Stellex serves as a booking and inventory interface for the Micros Opera PMS and the Maxial PMS. Stellex and related report information is also used to facilitate revenue management opportunities for our properties.
E-commerce Capabilities
Outrigger was one of the world’s first hospitality companies to invest in a website when it launched outrigger.com in 1994. Outrigger continues to invest in and extend its web capabilities with a total site rebuild in 2011 that focused on a state-of-the-art content management system, robust analytics, and advanced marketing and merchandising tools. Outrigger.com’s reservations path was developed in-house, sitting on a flexible content management system, and it is connected directly into Stellex. This ensures real-time availability and rates for our customers, and any changes can be made in-house without the assistance of third parties. Our website is geared to the leisure traveler and offers details not only of the property and the rooms but also about the destination. The site is also customizable; this enables us to bring out the character of the various properties we market.
While our technology is focused on leisure sales, we also have a robust B2B business that comes through our consumer website, call center and PacificBusinessConnection.com business website.
Outrigger also aggressively focuses on converting sales from the travel agent community. Travel agents can get information, enter rewards program data, and book on the dedicated OutriggerAgent.com website.

Outrigger's Condominium Collection is a special product line comprising 16 deluxe condominium resort properties offering studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom units on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island. These fully furnished accommodations are located in some of the most desirable locations in Hawaii, with properties available both at well-known resorts and at some truly unique, "out of the way" places.
